We need your help to get Richmond to honor letters to replace driveways!

The board recently met with a new Richmond American Homes manager who was recently transferred out from Colorado. He says they are committed to keeping their commitments to home buyers and will be honoring the letters they sent out last year promising replacement of driveways. Only driveways will be replaced, not walkways or porches. Entire driveways will be replaced. The following homes (at least) will be affected (note some of these are in the same pods):

From London Bay:
5086
5054
5076
5066
5082
5072
5112
5046
5109
5103
5031
5041
5047
5037
5101
5048
5058
5044
5064

From Duncan Meadow:
13442
13438
13432(these are all the model home pod)

The driveways will be replaced in the late Sept/Oct time frame and the irrigation will need to be turned off in front of and in backyards of those homes for 48 hours after/while cement is replaced, so we will in close touch with Richmond to turn off the water in the common areas.

The driveways can't be walked on for 3 days or driven on for 7-14 days and the driveways take 28 days to fully cure. Richmond will let homeowners know dates 1-2 wks beforehand and the homeowners will have to sign a release for the driveways acknowledging that Richmond admits no fault and will not warranty the replaced driveways.

We are a bit skeptical but hopeful and continue to be in contact with Richmond.

But we are asking for your help.

Please go to the Richmond page and ask when your driveway is to be replaced. If you are not on the list and feel you should be, go to Richmond and submit a home care request (can't hurt). If we stay on Richmond enough, we hope that we can see the results they have promised.

If you received a letter from Richmond and aren't on the list above, please email the board at
monarchmeadows@yahoogroups.com and also please go to the Richmond site and submit a home care request.

Thank you and hopefully together we can get some cement replaced!!!
